Crisis is a passive Drone. It strengthens the effects of Boosted Damage DD symbol.png, Boosted Armor DA symbol.png, and Speed Boost Speed symbol.png, but only allows one to be active at a time. Allows quick switching between supply modes. Active effect is indicated by one of these symbols Icon DA.pngIcon DD.pngIcon SB.png in battle.

It is the only Drone that cannot be purchased in the Garage; Crisis can only be obtained from Ultra Containers.

Garage description

An experimental drone with the ability to significantly increase the effect of one supply while disabling others. When you activate boosted damage, boosted armor, or speed boost (or pick up a supply box), this drone switches the supply into an improved mode, while disabling and recharging the other two supplies. Repair Kit and Mines can still be activated with no interruption.

This drone can only be obtained from Ultra Containers under the "Exotic" rarity.

Effects

Strengthens the effects of one supply when activated or picked up, but disables others. Modes can be switched quickly, depending on the upgrade level, and typical supply cooldowns are disabled.

This Drone consumes a total of three (3) pieces of the same kind as the type activated.

  • Icon additional armor.png - Additional armor (%): 50 → 100
  • Icon additional damage.png - Additional damage (%): 25 → 50
  • Icon additional speed.png - Additional speed (%): 20 → 70
  • Icon drone supply reload speed increase.png - Cooldown between switching modes (s): 2 → 0.5
  • Inventory double armor.pngInventory double power.pngInventory nitro.png - Additional Boosted Armor, Boosted Damage, or Speed Boost consumed: 2

Additionally, like all Drones, Crisis provides a passive bonus to the strength of Boosted Armor and Boosted Damage (this always stacks with the active effect increase when in armor or damage mode):

  • Inventory double armor.png Boosted Armor supply's effect increase: (33.3 → 50) %
  • Inventory double power.png Boosted Damage supply's effect increase: (50 → 100) %

How does Crisis's extra armor work?

The portion of damage that reaches your tank is calculated this way:

100 ÷ Armor Amount

  • The default Armor Amount Cdffcc5b.png is 100, so the damage pass-through is 100 ÷ 100 = 100%.
  • With standard Boosted armorDA symbol.png (no drone or a Level 0 drone), Armor Amount increases by 33.3, resulting in a 67.5% passthrough: 100 ÷ 150 = 67.5%
  • Adding drone upgrades increases this boost, up to 100, for a final (20/20 upgrades) pass through of 100 ÷ 200 = 50%
  • Crisis's armor boostIcon DA.png) is also added to the Armor Amount when in defending mode. The final amount then is:

100 ÷ (100 Cdffcc5b.png + 50-100DA symbol.png + 50-100Icon DA.png)

A maxed-out Crisis will have an armor amount of 300, resulting in taking only one third of normal damage.

Tips and Advice

  • Crisis has the potential to consume supplies ridiculously quickly, so only use it's fast-switching ability if you can afford it
  • Alternating between speed (traveling) and armor (dangerous situations) is excellent for capturing/delivering flags and for scoring goals
  • Alternating between damage (firing) and armor (reloading) is a powerful way to use long-reload, high-damage-per-shot turrets
  • Though Crisis is well-suited for dynamic gameplay, it's also an effective (and not as wasteful) tool for camping - just leave damage mode on.
  • Crisis is commonly paired with hovering hulls, since they are easier to keep upright while traveling at high speeds. If you want more maneuverability, though, tracked hulls can also perform excellently.

Micro-upgrades

Like all Drones, Crisis can be micro-upgraded to a total of 20 steps.
