In Tanki Online, there are many different ways that you can customize your tank. One of them is through shot effects — cosmetic items that allow you to customize the effect and/or color of your turret's shots.

Getting

Shot effects can be obtained from containers, Showcase offers, and some contests. If you get a shot effect, but you still don't have the turret on which you can equip it, then the effect will remain in the Garage. When you have the desired item, you can now equip the effect obtained earlier.

Equipping

To equip a shot effect, navigate to the turret in question and select the "shot effects" box under the "Skins" category. A list of shot effects available to the particular turret will be displayed. Double-click the desired shot effect to equip. Shot effects that you don't currently own will be darkened.

Only one shot effect can be equipped at any given time.

List of Shot Effects

Every turret except for Smoky, Thunder, Tesla and Terminator has at least one additional shot effect apart from a standard effect. The standard shot effect for each turret is available to all players from registration; other shot effects must be obtained before use.
