History of Supplies

Game admin at the time, keeper of the clan movement and legendary player, therussian with the best tank at the time: Dictator M3, Isida M3, Digital and "full supplies"
  • In the beginning of the game in 2009, there was only one kind of battle supply - First Aid Kit. The picture on it showed a syringe instead of a red cross that we got used to so much. That's why players that were using it were often called druggers while the supply itself was commonly known as a "drug".
  • From the end of 2009 to mid-2010, Tanki had accumulated around 200 000 registered players and that was when the supplies “Double Damage”, “Double Armour” and “Nitro” were added. Mines were also among new additions, as well as indication of active supplies above the tanks.
  • On August 26 of 2010, a bonus Repair Kit value was changed. Now the Repair Kit found during battle heals 50% of hull HP.
  • On January 1st of 2014, developers took ideas from each map from the pair and condensed it all in one balanced and versatile map. They changed many drop zones of supplies (and crystal boxes in many maps), so that they would always be accessible by players. Respawn places were also made different.
  • On 3rd July of 2014, The effectiveness of 'First Aid Kits' was increased. It now restored up to 400 HP in two seconds and will remain active for a set amount of time, even after your HP had been fully restored. First Aid Kit and Isida now remove freeze and burn effects. (Isida only did this when interacting with allied tanks).
  • On 29th September of 2014, Smart Cooldowns were introduced which eliminated activating all supplies against an opponent who has all supplies activated (as no one gets an advantage). Activating one of the supplies puts it and several other supplies in "cooldown". To avoid confusion from having different active times for garage and drop box supplies, Tanki had given them all the same cooldown time - 45 seconds. The update also includes unified icons for supplies both in the interface and in the game itself, as well as their improved indication.
  • On 1st July of 2015, There were some changes in the way supplies work;
    • Repair Kit’s reload time is increased by 33%: from 30 to 40 seconds, (the cooldown is now longer).
    • Repair Kit cooldown is decreased by 33%: from 15 to 10 seconds.
    • Mine reload time is decreased by 33%: from 30 to 20 seconds, (the cooldown is now shorter).
    • Mine’s cooldown time is decreased by 33%: from 15 to 10 seconds.

Old Statistics

  • Repair Kit: Gradually restores "health" at the rate of 30hp/sec. Heals until full health or all possible HP is given. The amount of HP in the medkit is equal to the full health of the tank. It can next be used after 30 seconds of the previous medkit activation. This is a must have item on the war field. A set of well-balanced medical items packed in a box, helps tankmen to stay alive in very dangerous situations. The box itself can play the role of composting toilet, also restores 200 armor points per second and reduces burning and freezing effect for two seconds. Unlocked: IconsSmall 04.png Corporal
  • Double Armor: Double protection to one minute. A set of advanced Kevlar plates, mounted in standard slots. Being set in a right way they can take up 50% of kinetic and thermal energy of the impact, provided double power armor. The devices function for the period of one minute. Unlocked: IconsSmall 08.png Master Sergeant
  • Double Damage: Doubles the damage your gun inflicts for 45 seconds. Unlocked: IconsSmall 08.png Master Sergeant
  • Nitro: Increases the top speed of the player's tank by 30%, as well as the turret's rotation, for 45 seconds. Unlocked: IconsSmall 03.png Gefreiter
