There's a lot of terminology used in Tanki Online - this dictionary will serve to explain to you the meaning of these terms and what they are.

Account - any person with a registered username and password has an account.

Achievement - a thing done successfully - the obtaining of a set goal.

Administrator - a person/team of people that are in charge of staff positions in the game and in the community.

AFK - shorthand for 'away from keyboard'.

Africa - a paint in Tanki Online.

Alert - any notification of an event in the game, whether it be a gold box or that someone has successfully captured a point.

Aleksandrovsk - a map in Tanki Online.

Alien - a paint in Tanki Online.

Alteration - modifiers that allow a player to alter gameplay features of turrets while keeping them within the overall game's balance.

Alternativa Platform - the name of the company that develops Tanki Online.

Amber - a paint in Tanki Online.

Anti-aliasing - this involves smoothing the structure of the pixels on the contours by adding pixels of colour transition.

Anti-cheat - a program that's part of the game which has been set up to deal with cheaters in battle.

Anti-flood - a program that's part of the game which has been set up to deal with flood in the chat.

Arachnid - a paint in Tanki Online.

Arena - a map in Tanki Online.

Atom - a paint in Tanki Online.

Atra - a map in Tanki Online.

Auto-ban - an automatic ban; this is often confused with the actions of the moderators.

Avatar - a small picture on the forum, only given to staff members. The avatars differ depending on the staff member's job.

Ban - a form of punishment for violators.

Barda - a map in Tanki Online.

Beginners Pass - A temporary pass rewarded to beginners that gives a 100% bonus on crystals and 50% bonus on experience.

Berlin - a map in Tanki Online.

Billboard - they're like banners that appear in the maps of the game; these can vary depending on if events are celebrated or not.

Birdwatcher - a paint in Tanki Online.

Black - a paint in Tanki Online.

Blacksmith - a paint in Tanki Online.

Blue - a paint in Tanki Online.

Bobruisk - a map in Tanki Online.

Boombox - a map in Tanki Online.

Brest - a map in Tanki Online.

Brig - this is short for Brigadier; a rank in Tanki Online.

Browser - software used to browse the Internet (examples being Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Maxthon and Safari).

Bug - a bug is an error, flaw, failure, or fault in the system that causes it to produce an incorrect or unexpected result, or to behave in unintended ways.

Bug-report - the action of reporting bugs found in the game; you do this in the Problems and Solutions section of the forum.

Buyer - a player who buys in-game items for real money.

BP - Acronym for "Wasp / Railgun" combination and type of format battle.

Camp - a map in Tanki Online.

Capture - to capture a flag or a point (in this context).

Carbon - a paint in Tanki Online.

Cedar - a paint in Tanki Online.

Chainmail - a paint in Tanki Online.

Champion - a paint in Tanki Online; awarded to the winning clan of the Star Series Championship.

Chernobyl - a map in Tanki Online.

Cherry - a paint in Tanki Online.

Clan - the players' union in the group with a single name and leadership.

Clan Championship - the oldest and most prestigious clan tournament in the game.

Client - an unofficial program which can run the game.

Cobalt - A special paint rewarded to players who show extreme skills in various tournaments.

Cologne - a map in Tanki Online.

Combe - a map in Tanki Online.

Community Manager (CM) - a specialist who is constantly in communication with the players, exploring their interests, etc.

Corrosion - a paint in Tanki Online.

Courage - a map in Tanki Online.

CP - an acronym for Control Points.

Creative League (CL) - an organization of artists, digital designers and other talented people are able to apply and join. Once a member, you're awarded with the Helios paint.

Critical - primarily used when a Smoky lands a harder hit on another tank.

CTF - an acronym for Capture the Flag.

Deathtrack - a map in Tanki Online.

Death Match (DM) - a battle mode in Tanki Online, consists of an "ALL vs ALL" fight format.

Desert - a map in Tanki Online.

Dictator - a medium hull in Tanki Online.

Double Armor - A supply in Tanki Online; it provides you with more armor on your hull.

Double Crystal Card - Rewards you with twice the amount of crystals you buy in the Shop.

Double Damage - A supply in Tanki Online; it enables you to deal more damage with your turret.

Double Kill - killing two opponents at the same time or with the same shot.

Dragon - a paint in Tanki Online.

Drop - gold boxes or supplies that drop during battle. It can also mean dropping a flag.

Drought - a paint in Tanki Online.

Duality - a map in Tanki Online.

Duel - a map in Tanki Online.

Duelist - someone who partakes in 1-1 matches.

Dusseldorf - a map in Tanki Online.

Drug - slang word used to address "Supplies".

Drugger - slang word used to address "Supplies' users".

DR - acronym for "Dictator/Railgun" combination and type of format battle.

Edinburgh - a map in Tanki Online.

Flood - meaningless chatting.

Fracture - a paint in Tanki Online.

Freeze - a short-range turret in Tanki Online.

Frost - a paint in Tanki Online available for Premium tankers only.

Future - a map in Tanki Online.

F1 - meaning the player with the flag can be destroyed with 1 shot. Generally used in XP / BP battles.

Friends list - list of players you've added as friends in-game.

G

Game designer - an expert in styling rules, game and design.

Garder - a map in Tanki Online.

GG - acronym for 'good game.'

GGWP - acronym for 'good game, well played.'

Gift - item available in the Garage which can be purchased and sent to another player, along with a short custom message.

GL - acronym for 'good luck'.

Gladiator - a paint in Tanki Online; awarded to all players who participated in the Star Series Clan Championship.

Glide - a paint designed for those professionally engaged in parkour.

Gold box - a special crystal box worth 1000 crystals, or more, depending on events.

Golden Star - a paint in Tanki Online available for Premium tankers only.

Graffiti - a paint in Tanki Online.

Grasslands - a paint in Tanki Online.

Gravity - a map in Tanki Online.

Green - a paint in Tanki Online; it's free and already in your garage.

Gubakha - a map in Tanki Online.

Guerrilla - a paint in Tanki Online.

Glitch - a minor malfunction, mishap, or technical problem.

Hacking - an action aimed at taking a password from someone's account or when a tanker is using 3rd party software to give himself an advantage.

Hammer - a short-range turret in Tanki Online.

Helios - a paint in Tanki Online; is privileged to the members of the Creative League.

Helper - a paint in Tanki Online; goes to the best Helpers of the month.

Highland - a map in Tanki Online.

Highways - a map in Tanki Online.

Hill - a map in Tanki Online.

Hohloma - a paint in Tanki Online.

Holiday - a paint in Tanki Online. It changes depending on events. It is free and already in your garage.

Hornet - a light hull in Tanki Online.

Ignore - putting a player on your blacklist; you cannot see their messages.

Impulse - a paint in Tanki Online; is awarded to winners of the tournament it is a prize in.

Lag - impaired computer functionality resulting from high latency, packet loss, or low-performance hardware

Mine - a supply in Tanki Online. It places an explosive mine on the ground which will trigger when a tank rolls over it, dealing 1200-2400 damage.

Mint - a paint in Tanki Online.

Moderator - a representative of law and order on the server and the forum.

Molotov - a map in Tanki Online.

Monte Carlo - a map in Tanki Online.

Mult - a player who deliberately remains inactive or sabotages the gameplay of others.

Nerf - a decrease in the performance characteristics of any given piece of equipment.

Parkour - the art of overcoming obstacles.

Parma - a map in Tanki Online.

Phishing - a type of online fraud, involves trying to trick users in an attempt to steal sensitive data.

Picasso - a paint in Tanki Online.

Ping - time elapsed to transmit a packet of information from a player to a server and from the server back to the player. Measured in milliseconds.
